KAY O’BRIEN (née Brett) East ferry, Midleton, O’Briens Furniture and formerly of Colligan, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.

On December 30th 2025 peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Pierce and Hannah and by her brothers John and Noel.

Beloved wife of Declan, loving mother of Claire and Caryl, grandmother of Bryan, Laurna, Rachel, Emily and Isabel, sister of Eddie, Moira, Jim, Bernie, Rita and Bette.

Sadly missed also by her son-in-law John (McHugh) and also Kieren (Ahern), sister-in-law Alison, brothers-in-law Fr. Allen (CSSR), Billy and Tony, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May Kay Rest in Peace.

HOUSE PRIVATE.

Kay will repose at Hydes Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton, P25VW02, on Friday January 2nd 2026 from 5pm–6.30pm.

Kay's Funeral cortège will pause at the shop, 38 Main Street, Midleton at approx 1.30pm en route to Requiem Mass in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Saturday 3rd at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The Mass will also be available to view LIVE ONLY on www.midletonparish.ie
