Kay Sweeney

With heavy hearts we share the sudden passing of Kay Sweeney, Wellpark and formerly of Moylough, Co. Galway, on Saturday the 29th of November 2025.

Predeceased by her brother John Joe, godson Shane and her parents Paddy and Bridget.

Kay will be forever missed by her son Mark, daughter-in-law Gillian and her two cherished grandchildren Tiernan and Finn. Sadly missed by her brothers Terry and Padraic, sisters Anne and Bernie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing in The Holy Family Funeral Home, Mervue (H91 FH52), on Tuesday the 2nd of December from 5pm. Removal at 6:30pm into the adjoining church. Kay's Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday the 3rd of December at 11am. Private cremation service to follow.
