TWOMEY (Douglas, Cork): On March 9th 2026, peacefully, after an illness bravely borne, surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of the staff of Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, KAY (née O’Sullivan), beloved wife of the late Matt, loving mother of Elaine (O’ Herlihy), Tomás and Matthew, dear sister of Tom and the late Jimmy and John.

 

Sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Adrian, daughter-in-law Nora, Maria, adored grandchildren; Cian, Laura, Sean, Rory, Aoife, Ciara, Kate, Tomás Óg, Adam, Bríd, Clodagh, Grace and their partners, her great-grandsons; Charlie, Theo and Sonny and Maria’s Children Sinead and Grace. sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours, friends and carers.

 

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Wednesday (March 11th) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

 

Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Thursday (March 12th) in St. Columba’s Church, Douglas which will be live streamed on

mycondolences.

Funeral afterwards to St. John’s Cemetery, Ballinrea.
