Ken Waine

Greenhills, Dublin

Waine Ken, 6th September, 2025, St. Brendan’s Crescent, Greenhills and formerly of Merton Park, The Tenters, Dublin 8 and Guinness, St James Gate Dublin; peacefully after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family at home and in the kind care of the Hospice Community Palliative Care Team; beloved husband of Rita, loving dad of Alan, Pauline and David and much loved grandad of Emily, Sam, Lucy, Bobby, James, Zoey and Isabelle. Predeceased by his loving brother Bobby. Ken will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, his children and their partners Shay, Linda and Niki, grandchildren, sisters Hilary, Doreen, Betty, Pat, Susan and Ellen, brothers Mattie, John and Paddy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday (9th September 2025) from 6pm to 8pm. A Celebration of Ken’s Life will take place on Wednesday afternoon (10th September 2025) at 2.30pm in the Temple, Newlands Cross Crematorium followed by Cremation.
