Kevin Friel

Kevin passed away peacefully in his home on the 26th of February 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Margaret and loving father of John, Lorraine and Jenny. Sadly missed by his sons-in-law Bart (Flynn) and Kieran (Somers), his adored grandchildren Feithleann, Joshua, Lucas and Fia, sister Bridget, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends. Kevin is pre-deceased by his parents Josephine and John.

Reposing at O'Shea's Funeral Home, Killarney this Friday the 27th of February from 7:15pm to 8:30pm. Funeral arriving at St. Mary's Cathedral at 11:40am on Saturday morning for Requiem Mass at 12:00 Noon followed by burial afterwards in Aghadoe Cemetery.

The Requiem Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/killarneycathedral.

Family flowers only by request donations in lieu if desired to Kerry Hospice Foundation (Palliative Care).
