Kevin Hand

The death has occurred of Kevin Hand, Carnowen, Smithborough, Co. Monaghan (H18 XD72), Thursday 19th September 2024, after a short illness, peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of the intensive care unit, Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Kathleen and much loved father of Patricia, Anthony and Raymond (Ciara). Kevin will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, daughter, sons, daughter-in-law, cherished grandchildren, Éala, Éirinn and Blaithín, sister Anna, brother Eamon, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours, many friends and by all who knew and loved Kevin.

Kevin will be repose at the family home Carnowen, Smithborough H18 XD72, on Saturday (21st) and Sunday (22nd) from 3pm until 9pm (family, neighbours and close friends at all other times please, including Monday morning). Removal on Monday morning at 10:15am to arrive at St. Mary's Chapel, Magherarney, Smithborough for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Please note there will be a shuttle bus will be in operation, wake times only 3pm to 9pm, parking at Magherarney National School car park.
