Kevin Higgins

Kevin passed away on Tuesday January 10,  2023 in the care of the Claddagh Ward, University Hospital Galway after dealing with his illness in his own courageous and candid way.

Predeceased by his mother Mary.

Very sadly missed by his cherished wife Susan, father Stephen, sister Helen, nephew Mark, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, his many valued friends and all those he touched and inspired through his mentorship and poetry in the Arts Community in Ireland and further afield.

Kevin will be reposing at the O ’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) on this Sunday,  January 15,  from 2.30  p.m. concluding with a celebration of Kevin’s Life at 4 p.m.  Live-streaming/Recording link: Here

This will be followed by an informal gathering at 5 p.m. at The House Hotel, Spanish Parade, Galway (H91 X309) to which all are welcome to share their memories of Kevin.
