Peacefully, in the gentle and dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved husband of the late Eileen (nee Treanor) and dear father of Kevin, Corina, Shirley and Barry. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Ruby and brother Con. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing sons, daughters, loving grandchildren Tommy, Ruby, Kacey, Amy, Christopher, David, Jamie, Kevin, Sarah and Eileen, son-in-law and daughters-in-law Patrick, Valerie, Anne and Ronan, brothers Eric and Dessie, sisters-in-law Frances, Philomena, Rose and Sadie, his extended family and dear friends

Due to Level 5 restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Kevin’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family only.

There will be an opportunity for the community to show support and to remember Kevin by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Saturday, January 30^th as the funeral cortege leaves from Quinn’s Funeral Home, Bridge Street, proceeding on the R173 via Bush and Carlingford, passing by his home in Mullatee and continuing via Euston Street and Anglesey Terrace, Greenore, to the Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea, Boher for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The family want to express their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, care staff and Palliative Care Team at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda for the exceptional care Kevin received while a patient there. They will always be thankful for the thoughtfulness and dedication that was evident in every facet of his care.
