Kevin Lynch
LYNCH (Gurteenroe, Bantry and formerly of Aughadown, Skibbereen): On July 7th 2022, unexpectedly but peacefully following a short illness bravely borne with great courage and dignity in the presence of his family at the Mercy University Hospital. KEVIN, dearly beloved husband and best friend of Marjulia (née Hoskin), loving father of Maria (Browne), Jess (Healy) and Julie, dear brother of Carrie, Olive the late Florence and Mary. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sisters, sons-in-law Mark and Fachtna, his adored grandchildren Aoife, Aislinn, Eoghan, Sinéad and Séimí, nephews, niece, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Coakleys Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Bantry on Sunday July 10th from 6.30pm to 7.30pm with Vigil Prayers at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass at St Finbarr’s Church, Bantry on Monday July 11th at 12 noon (livestreamed on bantryparish.ie) followed by burial in the Abbey cemetery, Bantry.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, Carrigrohane, Model Farm Road, Cork.
