Kevin Thornton

 

Formerly of Maree, Oranmore, Salthill, and Portumna, Galway

 

On November 30, 2024 Kevin completed his life’s journey at Galway University Hospital with his devoted wife Miriam and family by his side.

Dearly loved by his wife and children; David, Ian and Sarah and predeceased sadly by his daughter Laura. Predeceased also by his brothers Jim, Edmund and Barry.

 

Kevin will be sadly missed by his immediate family and by his daughter-in-law Kata, son-in-law Seán and grandchildren Maeve, Dillon, Éabha, Ellie and Muireann, Fondly remembered by his sisters Carmel and Terry, brother-in-law Frank, sister in-law Marie, many nephews and nieces, neighbours and friends.

 

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Tuesday, December 03 from 5.00 pm. Removal at 6:30 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Kevin on Wednesday, December 04, at 11 a.m. Mass will be live streamed on this link: https://mcn.live/Camera/christ-the-king-church-salthill Following Mass, he will be laid to rest with Laura in Rinville cemetery, Oranmore.
