Kieran Dowd

DOWD, (Cork, late of Belfast): On January 17th, 2025, peacefully, in the presence of his loving family at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice. KIERAN, beloved husband of Una (née Hayes) and much-loved father of Garin, Kieran, Jackie, Connor, Nickie and Lyndel, cherished sibling of Myra, Gerald, Ursula, Ethna and his late brother Alphonsus, adored by his grandchildren Ivan, Georgina, Sebastian, Eva, Esther, Finegin, Heath, Lola, Yvie, Ziggy and Zazie.

Sadly missed by his sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and especially by John, Lou, Ben, Kathryn and Theresa and by his friends and extended family.

The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care Kieran received at Tralee Hospital and more recently at Marymount where the staff helped make the last few months so comfortable and special for both him and his family.

Requiem mass at 12.00pm on Wednesday (January 22nd) at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Western Road, Cork which will be streamed live
