Kitty Byrne
(née O'Connor)
Kitty Byrne (née O’Connor), Parnell Park, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Stump Road, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow. July 10th, 2023, peacefully at home, with her family at her side. Beloved wife of the late Pat and mother of Gene and Regina. Predeceased by her husband, baby daughter Sinead, father Edward, mother Kathleen, sisters Mary and Carmel, brothers Paddy, Eamon and Thomas. Sadly missed by her son, daughter, daughter-in-law Mona, son-in-law Brian, granddaughter Lauren and her husband Cormac, adored great-granddaughters Alexa and Georgia, sister Margaret, sister-in-law Sarah, brothers-in-law Andy and Christy, aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, extended family, home carers, good neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at Brennan Woulahan Funeral Home, Avoca Road, Rathdrum on Wednesday (July 12th) from 4pm to 6pm. Removal on Thursday at 10.30am to St. Mary and St. Michael's Church, Rathdrum arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Rathdrum Cemetery. The Mass will be streamed live via: www.churchmedia.tv/rathdrum. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Wicklow Hospice. House private please.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to the staff of Wicklow Hospice and St. Paul’s Ward, St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Sinead Sheehan and her staff in Rathdrum Medical Practice and to Kitty’s wonderful carers.
