Kitty Canavan
(née Mulvihill)

The death has taken place unexpectedly, but peacefully, of Kitty Canavan (nee Mulvihill) of Gurranacheoil, Castletownroche, Mallow, on March 9th 2024, in Cork University Hospital, surrounded by her heartbroken family. Loving wife of the late Denny Canavan, mother of the late Pat, sister of the late Michael and grandmother of the late Rebecca. Sadly missed by her daughter’s Mary (Rice), Evelyne (O'Neill), Catherine (Hickey) and sons Denis and Kieran, Deeply regretted and adored by her family, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law, Kevin, Donie and Larry, grandchildren Stephen, Shane, Jason, Paul, Alex, Ciaran, Luke, Sarah, Grace, Laura, Eoin, Maeve and Dennis, great-grandchildren Conor and Mia and her large circle of neighbours and friends who meant so much to her.

Kitty who had a heart of gold, was an incredible mother, grandmother, neighbour and friend, a lady who was loved by all who knew her.

Reposing at Stack's Funeral Home, Doneraile on Sunday evening (March 10th) from 6pm to 7:30pm followed by Prayers and Reception into St. Craebhnait's Church, Annakisha. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11:30am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
