The death has occurred of
Kitty COTTER
(née O'Sullivan)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of KITTY (Catherine) COTTER (née O’Sullivan), Farranmareen, Enniskeane and late of Farnalough, Newcestown, who died peacefully on 17th January 2026, surrounded by her family and in the tender care of the staff of Cork University Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Billy Cotter (late of Kilmichael) and sister of Barry, Gussie, Con and the late Kevin and Eileen (Helena). She will be sadly missed by her children Tim, John, Liam, Mary, Michael and Catherine, her daughters in law, Caroline and Caroline, Michael’s fiancée Una and Mary’s partner Des, her grandchildren, Alyssa, Joseph, Cadhla and Feidhlim, her sisters in law, her carer, Mary Coughlan, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and a large circle of friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at O’Mahony’s Funeral Home, Enniskeane (P7 EV24) on Monday 19th January from 6.30pm to 8.00pm
Funeral Mass will take place at The Church of St. John The Baptist, Newcestown (P72 P403) on Tuesday 20th January at 12.30pm followed by burial in St. Finbarr’s Cemetery, Kilmurry.
