Kitty (Kay) O’Keeffe
(née Toomey)

The death has occurred of Kitty (Kay) O’Keeffe (nee Toomey) Kilcornan and formerly of Baggotstown, Knockainey passed away peacefully at St. Ita’s Community Hospital in the loving care of the outstanding staff at the Blue Bell ward and Orchid unit on 30th July 2023. Kitty is predeceased by her sisters Breda (Keane), Maureen (O’Connell), Joan (Finn), Esther (Dempsey), brother Paddy Toomey and nephew Mark Dempsey. Kitty will be sadly missed by her loving husband Mossie, children Marie, Caroline, Haulie and Linda, grandchildren Amy, Shelly and Eoghan, brother Andy, sisters in law Ita (Toomey), Eileen (Tynan) and Kathleen (O’Keeffe), brothers in law Mickie O'Keeffe and Joe Dempsey, June, Patrick and Alan, nephews, nieces, carers, nurses and staff at St. Ita’s Community hospital, relatives, neighbours & friends.

May Kitty Rest In Peace

Reposing at Kieran Madigan's Funeral Home, Main Street, Askeaton V94 K598 on Tuesday evening, 1st August, from 5 to 7pm. Arriving at St John the Baptist Church, Kilcornan on Wednesday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Kilcornan Cemetery.
