BRODERICK Lal. Goretti House, Gort, Co. Galway. Peacefully, on Christmas Day, December the 25th, 2022, in the tender care of the staff of St. Pius Ward U.H.G and surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his beloved parents Larry and May and by his loving niece Valerie Downey.

It is with much sadness we announce the death of our Lal in his 74th year, a very special person who passed away on a special day. Cherished and much-loved brother of Maura (Foley), Geraldine (Walsh), Valerie (Broderick), Lorna (Downey) and Barry (Broderick). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, extended family, great neighbours and many loyal friends. Sleep well Lal, you are forever loved.

The funeral will take place in line with current government guidelines on covid - 19.

Lal will lie in repose at his home on Thursday December 29th all day from 12 noon until 6pm. People attending the funeral are kindly asked to park their cars on Georges Street and walk to the reposal. Lal’s Funeral cortege will leave his home on Friday December 30th to arrive at St. Colman’s Church Gort for Requiem Mass at 11am. Lal will then be laid to rest in St. Colman’s cemetery, Gort, alongside his beloved parents. The funeral mass will be live streamed on the Gort Parish Facebook Page.
