Larry Gaffney

Larry Gaffney, Gortnakesh, Tierquin, Cavan Town, Friday March 21st 2025, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Harry and Helen Gaffney, his brother in law Sean Brennan and his father and mother in law Michael and Eileen walsh.

Larry will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by his heart broken wife and best friend Marie, his adoring and heart broken daughter Emma, son in law Niall, sister Rose and her sons David and Anthony (London), brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, all his extended family, good neighbours and his many friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Sunday evening from 7.30pm until 9.30pm. Removal from his home in Tierquin on Monday afternoon at 1.30pm to St.Brigid's Church, Killygarry , arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to the Oncology Unit at Cavan general Hospital. Larry's Funeral Mass will be available to view live on the following link.
