Larry Horgan

Horgan (Gurranabraher Road, Gurranabraher, Cork); on February 12th 2026, peacefully, after a long illness fought with great courage and dignity and in the tender loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Mary’s Ward at the Mercy University Hospital; Larry; beloved husband of the late Josephine (née O’Connell) and brother of the late Philly. Loving father of Deirdre, Kieran, Brian and the late Mark.

Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers Tommy and Patsy, sister Mary, grandchildren Jake, Ross, Louis, Sarah, Ashling, Leah, young Kieran, Ben and Sam; son-in-law Tony, daughters-in-law Sheila and Vanessa; nephews, nieces, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Sunday 15th February from 4.00pm to 5.00pm with prayers at 4.45pm. Requiem Mass on Monday 16th February at 11.00am in the Church of the Ascension, Gurranabraher. Funeral afterwards to St. Oliver's Cemetery, Model Farm Road.
