LAURANCE DOWD

 

Ballinphuil, Tibohine, Co. Roscommon

 

September 6th, 1938 - March 16th, 2025

 

 

Peacefully, with his family by his side in the wonderful care of the doctors and nurses of

St. James’ Hospital, Dublin.

 

Predeceased by siblings Peggy, Raymond, Madeline, Noreen, Joseph and Frank and

his sons-in-law Gerry Morgan and Aongus Curran.

 

Laurance will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Maura, daughters Mary, Noreen, Barbara and Olivia, sons Aidan, Cathal and Lorcan, grandchildren James, Robert, Daniel,

Tom, Aoife, Matthew, Mary, Aongus Óg, Adrien, Julie, Thomas, Alice, Eoin,

Diarmuid, Eve, Olivia, Darragh, Sarah, Rory, Nicole and Kyle, sons-in-law Paul and Steve, daughters-in-law Frederique, Joan and Louise, sister-in-law Anne, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May He Rest in Peace.

Laurance will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Wednesday from 5pm until 7.30pm

Removal from his home on Thursday at 11am to St. Baoithin’s Church, Tibohine arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am, followed by interment in Tibohine (new) cemetery
