Laurance (Lar) Hammond

The death has occurred, unexpectedly, but peacefully, of Laurance (Lar) Hammond, at his home, in The Meadows, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan on 26 October 2021. A much loved husband, father, son, brother, father in law, uncle, nephew and friend. Lar will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Cecilia, his children Gary and Mark, his parents Margaret and Kevin, his sister Donna, his daughters in law Alex and Laura, his brothers in law Eddie and Austin (and Austin's partner Robert), his nieces Ella, Níamh and Olivia, his nephew Séan, his uncles William, Larry, Fran and Philip, his aunts Joan and Susan, his extended family, neighbours, friends and work colleagues and all who knew and loved him.

Rest In Peace

Reposing on Saturday evening at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) from 5pm until 8pm.  Removal from the Funeral Home on Sunday morning, travelling via his residence in Ballyjamesduff (approx.11.20am), to arrive at Lakelands Crematorium for 12.15pm.
