Laurence Desmond (Dessie) MURPHY
Laurence Desmond (Dessie) Murphy, Founder of Booterstown Youth Club, late of Kilpedder, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Booterstown, Co. Dublin passed away suddenly but peacefully on 18th March, 2018, at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin; husband of Joan, dearly loved Dad of David, Ken, Adrienne, Mark, Carol and Lisa, adored Grandad Des of Shane, Sarah and Louise; Sean, Niall, Darren and Mark; Emily and Conall, fondly remembered by his sisters Maura and Bernie, daughters-in-law Sandra and Joan, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Requiem Mass on Thursday, 22nd March at 10.00am in the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Avenue followed by burial in Dean’s Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Blackrock Hospice can be made at the church. House private.
