Laurence (Larry) Daly

Daly Laurence (Larry), 21st April 2026, (Crumlin and formerly of Stephen’s Lane, Dublin 2); Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Mary, much loved dad of Margaret and Dee, wonderful grandad to Ciara, Niamh, Aoife, Sarah, Seán, Kate and Rónán, great-grandad to Tola, Isla, Yara, Freddie and Hannah and cherished brother of Andy and the late Christy, Johnny and Leo.

 

Larry will be forever loved and sadly missed by his heartbroken family, sons-in-law Niall and Michael, sister-in-law Patsy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

Larry’s family wish to express a heartfelt thank you to Home Givers Ireland, Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold's Cross, St. James’s Hospital and their ICPOP team, and all of those who cared for him throughout his illness, especially his carer’s Derek and Lisa who went above and beyond.

 

May he rest in peace

 

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 10am in St. Bernadette’s Church, Clogher Road followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium at 11.30am.

 

Larry’s wish was that anyone attending his Funeral wear bright colour clothing please.
