The death has occurred of
Laurence (Larry) Murphy
Formerly of Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Larry passed away peacefully on 5th July, 2023, after a short illness, borne with dignity, in the wonderful care of the staff in St. Francis’ Ward, Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. Pre-deceased, only recently, by Phyllis his loving wife of 53 years and by his brother Fran. Deeply regretted by his brother Thomas, sister Joan, sisters-in-law Rosemary and Geraldine, brother-in-law Mick, nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful neighbours in Shannonbridge, great colleagues from ESB and his many friends.

Larry will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15), on Friday, the 7th of July, from 6.30pm with removal at 8pm to St. Ciarán's Church, Shannonbridge (N37 EP46). Larry's Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 11am, with burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery, Athlone.
