Laurence (Larry) Murphy

The death has occurred of Laurence (Larry) Murphy, Beach Grove, Oranmore, Galway, and formerly of Rosscarbery, Co. Cork on October the 22nd 2024, peacefully at Brampton nursing home Oranmore. Larry is predeceased by his wife Mary (Minnie). He is sadly missed by his children Kealan, Lorna, and Ronan, his son-in-law David, daughter- in-law Christina, grandchildren Maya, Alex, and Gwyn, his brothers, sister, sisters-in-law, and brother-in-law, all his nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing as Terrmann Mhuire in the grounds of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore this Thursday evening from 4 p.m. with removal at 6 p.m. to the adjoining church for Mass at 7 p.m. Requiem mass on Friday at 1:00 p.m. followed by interment in Rinville Cemetery. Family flowers only by request donations if desired to the Alzheimer's Society.

Mass will be broadcast on the Church webcam https://www.oranmoreparish.org/live and also on Parish radio 105.3 FM in the local area.
