Laurence (Larry) Power

Laurence (Larry) Power, 35 Fr. Cummin’s Park and formerly of Ballyloughan, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow, passed away peacefully, on 10th April 2026, at University Hospital Waterford, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved son of Tom and Joan, much loved brother of Edward, Paul, Thomas and Trevor. Laurence will be lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by his sister-in-law Breda, Trevor’s fiancée Lolly, nieces and nephews Emma, Conor, Niamh and Tom, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Cushen’s Funeral Home, Kilcarrig Street, Bagenalstown (R21 V127) on Sunday, 12th April, from 2pm until 7pm, with prayers at 4pm. Requiem Mass will be held at St. Andrew’s Church, Bagenalstown on Monday, 13th April at 2pm. Funeral Mass will be followed by burial in the Cemetery of the Assumption, Bagenalstown.
