Laurence (Larry) Tighe

Larry passed away peacefully at Áras Chois Fharraige Nursing Home, Spiddal on Friday 10th December, 2021. Predeceased by his brother Tom.

He will be mourned and  sadly missed by his loving wife Eileen, sons Eamon and Kieran and  his daughter Caroline, daughters-in-law Mari and Brenda, son-in-law Kevin, much loved grandchildren Stephen, Rebecca, Aoife and Laura, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the ‘Cillín’ within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna  on Monday 13th December, from 6 p.m.  A “Walk-Through” system is in place. Removal into the Church at 7 p.m.  Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 14th December at 12 noon. Church webcam available at  https://www.churchtv.ie/barna/. Funeral after Mass to 'Realt na Mara' cemetery, Furbo. Family flowers only please.  Memorial Donations if you prefer to Alzheimer society of Ireland or Western Alzheimers. House private.

Larry’s  family are mindful of spreading Covid-19.  If you are attending the funeral please maintain all social distancing guidelines.  Please wear a mask and avoid shaking hands.  Thank you.
