Formerly of Flower Hill, Navan, and College, Nobber. Peacefully, at home, in his 96th year, following many fruitful years and always maintaining a constant and vigorous rapport with all those around him. He will be greatly missed by his surviving sister Kathleen Gillespie of Chicago and by Rose, Maureen and James Gillespie and by Rose’s husband Brian Doherty. Larry was predeceased by his sisters Margaret Risberg and Mary Joe Merrigan and survived in America by his nieces and nephews Patrica Risberg–Mogridge, Peter Risberg, Margaret (Peggy) Petersen and Eileen Hilburn.
Larry was reared by his aunt Catherine (Katie) Ward Rogers alongside her sons Tommy, Larry & Johnnie Rogers and he was a constant source of support, encouragement and laughter to all the Rogers.
