Lawrence (Lar) Bowen

Bowen (Ballinacurra, and formerly of Castlepark, Kinsale) on May 1st 2024 peacefully in the wonderful care of the Staff at Kinsale Community Hospital. Lawrence (Lar), beloved husband of Agnes, and dear father of Theresa, Laurence, Agnes, Josephine, Michael, Sheila and Mary. Predeceased by his brothers Daniel and Neilus and sisters Joanie and Mary.

 

Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

 

Lar will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O'Donovan's Funeral Home, Kinsale on Monday evening from 6pm followed by prayers at 7pm.

 

Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am in St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale, which will be livestreamed on www.churchservices.tv/kinsale, funeral afterwards to St. Eltin's Cemetery, Kinsale via Castlepark and Ringrone.
