The death has occurred of
Leila Cox
Leila Cox, (Ringsend, Dublin) – April 7th 2026. Passed peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her father Jack (Saw) Cox and mother Kathleen (née Purcell), her brothers Robert and John, and sisters Marie and Kathleen.
Sadly missed and forever remembered by all her loving family, sisters Margaret, Betty and Bernadette, brother Micheal, brothers-in-law Gerry and Christy, sister-in-law Rosaleen, her adored nephews, nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, especially John and Anthony who she raised as her own, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May she Rest in Peace
Leila will repose at Nichols Funeral Home, Lombard Street on Friday (April 10th) from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Saturday morning (April 11th) to St. Patrick’s Church, Ringsend arriving for 10am Mass, followed thereafter by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery.
