Lena McNeela
(née Marren)
Lena McNeela (née Marren) Cloonbrackna Avenue, Roscommon Town and formerly of Cloongoonagh, Tourlestrane, Co. Sligo. (Peacefully) on the 5th October 2025, surrounded by her heartbroken family, in the devoted care of the staff at the Galway Clinic.
Beloved wife of Michael and much loved mother to Mark, Brian, Michelle, Cathy, Eimear and Liam. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, brothers Séamus and Matt, sisters Maureen and Mairéad, sons and daughters-in-law Ann, Evette, Ollie, Niall, Joe and Áine, treasured grandchildren Chloe, Laura, Ruairí, Tadhg, Eleanor, Greg, Méabh, Lucy, Kate, Jessica, Leah, Darragh, Paul, Heather, Éabha and Aoibhí, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Lena is predeceased by her cherished son Paul, her sister Sheila and her parents Patrick and Mary.
May Lena rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Tuesday evening from 4.30 o’c until 7 o’c. Mass of the Resurrection in the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon on Wednesday morning at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
