The death has occurred of Lena Rowan (Née Kirby) - Marlinstown, Mullingar and formerly of Castletown Geoghegan, Co. Westmeath - February 11, 2025 (peacefully) with her loving family by her side and in the excellent care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar. Beloved wife of the late Tony and dear mother of Anthony, Paul, Lorraine (Caffrey) and Derek. Lena will be very sadly missed and forever lovingly remembered by her family, daughters-in-law Trudie, Louise and Joanne, son-in-law Daragh, her adored grandchildren Aoife, Niamh, Keelin, Max, Rian, Sorcha, Fionn and Aibhe, brothers Jimmy and Eugene, sisters Kathleen and Teresa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, her special nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Remembering all the deceased members of the Kirby and Rowan families.

Reposing at her family home (N91 TD00) on Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm and house private at all other times please. Lena’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 am in St Paul’s Church, Delvin Road, Mullingar followed by burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Marlinstown. The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam at www.mullingarparish.ie (St Paul’s).
