Leo Monaghan

The death has occurred of Leo Monaghan of Brodella, Shrule, Co. Mayo. Peacefully at the Mayo Hospice on Thursday the 23rd of January 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

 

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Norah, his sister Ann Kirby, his parents-in-law James and Eileen Ryan and sister-in-law Ann.

 

Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Peggy (Nee Ryan) and son Paul, brother Joe, sisters Marion (Hackett) and Frances (Ryan), brothers-in-law John, Eddie, Mick and Tommy, sisters-in-law Agnes, Ger and Pauline, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

 

May Leo's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

 

Reposing at Cradock’s Funeral Home, Shrule on Saturday the 25th of January from 5pm until 7pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glencorrib. Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glencorrib on Sunday the 26th of January at 1:00pm with burial afterwards in Shrule Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
