The death has occurred of
Leo O'Neill
O’NEILL (Coronea, Skibbereen and formerly of Castletownbere): on January 8th 2024, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his family in the loving care of the staff at Bantry General Hospital. LEO (Former Postman of Union Hall, Castlehaven) beloved husband of Kathleen (nee McSweeney, Bantry), much loved father of Laura Kate and Julie, brother of the late Aidan and Donal. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sons-in-law Barry and Paul, adored grandsons Conor and Dara Leo, brother Gerard, sisters Mary, Norma and Sheila, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, Goddaughters, kind neighbours, relatives and friends.
Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen, on Sunday, January 14th 2024, from 3pm to 5pm followed by Prayers. Reception into St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen, on Monday, January 15th 2024, at 11.45am followed by Requiem Mass at 12 noon. This will be livestreamed via https://corklivestream.com/funerals. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen.
