Leo Penrose

Leo Penrose, late of Buncrana, Co Donegal, formerly of Ballynacargy, Co Westmeath and London died peacefully on 26th May 2023 in ICU at Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Elizabeth, brothers Bill, Pat, Thomas, Birdie, Robin and Jodie, sisters Alice and Lena.

Deeply missed by his loving wife Eileen, heartbroken daughters Eileen (Ronan) and Alice (Doherty), son-in-laws John and Patrick, devoted grandchildren James and Alice, sisters Vera (Maher) and Florrie (Glynn), brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at his daughter Alice’s home in Buncrana on Sunday, 28th May, 2pm-10pm before travelling on Monday 29th May 2023  to repose at  his nephew Willie Penrose’s home, Ballintue, Ballynacargy, Co Westmeath N91 Y291 from 6pm. Arriving to Church of The Nativity, Ballynacargy for requiem Mass on Tuesday 30th May at 11am with burial after in Sonna Cemetery.
