Leo Wilson

Leo passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his son John. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his wife of 62 years Kathleen, son Paul, daughter-in-law Anne, granddaughters Caroline and Maria and their partners, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Leo lived every day to the fullest and we hope his passion to enjoy life inspires others to find happiness in the everyday.

Reposing at his home  ('Arundel' , Seapoint , Barna  H91 XDK4)  on Thursday, 25th November, 2021 from 4.00 p.m.  to  7.00 p.m.  Removal on Friday,  26^th  November,  to Barna Church to arrive for Requiem Mass  at 12 noon.  Funeral after Mass to Furbo Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to RNLI as sailing was a huge part of Leo's life. When the boat became too much for him, he bought a kayak which he continued to use until he was 87 years old.

Leo's family would like to thank you for your sympathy and support at this sad time. Although the attendance at the Church has greatly increased, please continue to observe social distancing guidelines at the Church and if you are attending the Reposing at Leo's home.  Please wear a mask and avoid shaking hands.
