In the early hours of Thursday, 26th February 2026 Lesley completed her life’s journey. She died with her dearly loved family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Peter, father Leslie, mother Hilda, brothers Ted, Jim and Malcolm, sisters Pam and Sheila. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her son Nicholas, daughters Julie and Elizabeth (Liz), sister Delia, sisters-in-law Bridie, Barbara, Maudie and Annie (née Folan formerly of Shantalla Road), by her nieces and nephews, great neighbours and friends.

Our mother kept a garden of the heart
She planted all the good things
That gave our lives its start
Her constant good example
Always taught us right from wrong
Markers for our pathway
That will last a lifetime long

Funeral Arrangements

Monday, 2nd March, 2026

Reposing at the Church of the Holy Family Funeral Parlour, Mervue from 5 p.m. Removal to St. Brigid's Church, Ballybane at 6.30 p.m.

Tuesday, 3rd March, 2026

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Lesley at St. Brigid’s at 11 a.m. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest with Peter in Rahoon cemetery.
