The death has occurred of
Leslie McLean
Formerly of: Moy Elta Road, Dublin, Toronto, Texas, Shantalla Road, Beaumont, Dublin and finally Stamullen, Co. Meath. Battling to the end in Beaumont Hospital, Leslie passed away on 28th January, 2021, in the thoughts of all his loved ones. Beloved husband of the late Sheila (nee McNamee) and father to Brian and Allen, siblings Evelyn, Florence and Pat. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his daughters-in-law Maura and Patty, grandchildren Stephen, Denise, Alison and Jonathan, great-grandchildren Harlen, Beth, May and Tyson, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Family and friends will remember a gentle and generous man, burning with life and happiness. Leslie enjoyed living every minute to the full, regaling family and friends everywhere he went and was lucky to have wonderful neighbours, an active social life and close ties to friends in Detroit.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff and management in TLC Northwood, Our Lady of Lourdes Drogheda and Beaumont Hospital.
May Leslie rest in peace and always be remembered fondly.
Due to Government advice regarding public gatherings, a private family funeral will take place on Monday. Those who would have liked to attend but who cannot due to the current restrictions, please leave your message for the family in the Condolence Section below.
