Peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne, at University Hospital Limerick, on 22nd September 2024.

Sadly missed by his brother Colm, sister Nuala, sister-in-law Lucy, brother-in-law Pat, nieces and nephew, Annette, relatives, friends and his wide circle of international academic colleagues.

A Service to celebrate Liam’s life will be held at Shannon Crematorium on Wednesday 25th September at 3pm.
