Liam Burke, Clarin Crescent, Athenry and formerly of Cloonkeen, Athenry, Co.Galway.

Passed away peacefully on May 5th 2025, surrounded by his family at University Hospital Galway, after a long illness bravely borne.

Predeceased by his mother Annie and father John.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Breda, daughters Niamh and Ailish, brothers Padraig and John, brothers in-law John, Willie, Tom and Chris, sisters in-law Winnie, Josephine, Christina and Margaret, nieces Aoife, Louise, Lorraine and Sharon, aunts, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Wednesday 7th May from 6pm. Removal at 8pm to the Church of The Assumption, Athenry. Funeral Mass on Thursday 8th May at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in New Cemetery, Athenry. Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchmedia.tv/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to Parish radio 106.5fm.
