Liam slipped away peacefully at home on May 8th, after a long illness. Beloved husband of Kathleen; father to Orna, Davitt, Rossa, Louise, Dearbhla, Fiachra, and Caoimhe (Australia).

Father-in-law to MacDara, Mairead, Giacomo, Kaala, and Matt. Granddad (Goya) to Beabhin, Naoise, Cillian, Saoirse, Muireann, Rúairí, Cian, Brendan, Evelyn, and Maeve. Also survived by his siblings, Miriam, Brian, Kevin, Donal, and Margaret, and sisters-in-law Fionnguala, Patti and Jean, brother-in-law Bryan and his amazing carers, Mae, Ruche, and Pebe.

Reposing in the Cillín, within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Bearna from 4.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Monday, 12 May 2025

Requiem Mass will will be celebrated for Liam at 12 noon. Live-streaming link for Mass ; https://www.churchtv.ie/barna/ Liam will be laid to rest following Mass in Reilig Réalt Na Mara, Na bhForbacha (H91 NY09).

House private. No flowers please, donations if desired in Liam’s memory to the Galway Hospice’s home care team, the Irish Alzheimer’s Society, or Parkinson’s Ireland Galway.
