Liam McDermott

On Monday, the 19th of August, Liam passed away peacefully, surrounded by those who loved him most following a short illness endured with courage and acceptance, under the exceptional care of Professor O’ Regan and his team and the diligent staff of St.Patrick’s ward U.H.G.

Liam was the adored Husband of Ann and cherished Dad of Stephen and Mary.

Predeceased by his parents Pat and Peggy and his niece Emma, Liam will be sadly missed by his sisters Mary, Ann and Kathleen and brother Paddy, Mary’s partner Tom, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and extended McDermott and Callanan families.

May Liam’s kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at his home on Thursday, 22nd August, from 2pm until 7pm (Eir Code H62 XY09). A private celebration of Liam’s life will be held at his home on Friday 23rd at 11am followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations, if desired, to St. Patrick's patient comfort fund, U.H.G.

As Liam was a fan of bright colours, the family would appreciate if people wear something colourful in honour of his memory.
