Liam O'Brien

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Liam O’ Brien, 3 Vale View Kilfinane, Co. Limerick, and formerly of Bosnetstown, Kilfinane, Co. Limerick. On the 15th of December 2025, peacefully, at Cork University Hospital, surrounded by his loving partner and family. Predeceased by his father James, brother Michael, sons Barry and William.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken mother Christina, sons James, Aidan, John and Kieran, loving partner Jackie, sisters Marie and Noreen, brothers Mossie, Jim, John and Brendan, Uncle Pa, grandchildren Callum, Sophie, Billy, Lauren and Amy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, James’s partner Linda, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Liam will be reposing at McCarthy's Funeral home, Kilfinane, Co. Limerick (V35 E791) from 6-8pm on Thursday, 18th of December. Requiem Mass at St. Andrews Church, Kilfinane, Friday, 19th of December at 12 noon, followed by cremation at Shannon Crematorium, Shannon, Co. Clare (V14 PV30) at 4pm.
