Liam Salter
SALTER (Bawnishal, Castlehaven): on April 3rd 2026 peacefully at Bantry General Hospital. LIAM beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Sheehy) much loved father of Barbara, Caroline and Barty, brother of the late Mary (Fitton), John Joe and Fr. Bart. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Gerry (Conlon) and Dan (O’Sullivan), grandchildren Carla, Becca, Hannah, Adam, Stephen and Ciara, sister Kathleen (Currit), nephews Alexandre and Laurent, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Sunday, April 5th 2026 from 3pm to 5pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Monday, April 6th 2026 at 12 noon in St. Barrahane’s Church, Castlehaven. Funeral afterwards to Castlehaven New Cemetery.
