Liam Shanahan
Liam Shanahan of Monalee and late of St John’s Park, Tralee died peacefully on 22nd April 2025. In the tender care of the Palliative Care Unit, Kerry University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband to the late Catherine (nee Crowley, Ballinadee, Co. Cork) also predeceased by his sister Peg and brother Patrick. Cherished father of Mike, Angela, Geraldine, Kieran, Juliette, and Brendan. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousin Nora, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in the Rose Chapel, Hogan’s Funeral Home, Tralee on Thursday evening April 24th from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Funeral cortége leaving Hogan's Funeral Home Friday 25th April, at 12.15pm arriving at Our Lady and St. Brendan's Church Tralee, at 12.30pm for 1.00pm Requiem Mass for Liam, which will be live streamed on www.stbrendansparishtralee.net after which Liam will be laid to rest in Rath Cemetery.
