Our beloved Lil completed her life's journey on 6th December, 2025.

 

She passed away, gently and beautifully, surrounded by her loved ones, and in the warm care of the staff at Fatima Home, Tralee.

 

She will be forever missed by her loving husband Pats, daughter Elsie and her husband Jody (Tipperary), daughter Maryanne and her husband Frank (Kerry), son Martin and his wife Carmel (Galway).

 

Predeceased by her son Paddy in November, 2019

 

She brought much joy and fun to her grandchildren - Cathal, Cormac, Rian, Rory, Donnacha and Daragh.

 

Predeceased by her parents Liz and Martin Prendeville and her siblings - baby Margaret, John, Bob, Nell and Mary.

 

Lovingly remembered by her brother Mont (Listowel), nieces, nephews and wide circle of friends.

 

Lil loved her family and her home, her community, listening to her songs on Radio Kerry, dancing, gardening, her hens, playing bingo, attending Active Retired Group, and cycling her beloved bike.

 

Her sense of fun, often accompanied by fits of giggles, was contagious.

 

She left a deep imprint of kindness and a warm sense of humanity on those whom she met.

 

Her passing will be deeply felt by all those who knew her.

Reposing in Buckley/Finucane Funeral Home, Lixnaw, on Monday evening from 6pm to 8pm.

 

Arriving to St. Michael's church Lixnaw, on Tuesday morning at 10.45 a.m. for 11.00 a.m. requiem mass livestreamed on https:/www.churchcamlive.ie/lixnaw-parish-live-stream.

 

Interred afterwards in Kiltomey cemetery.
