Lillian Deane
(née Salter)
DEANE (Tawnies Upper, Clonakilty and formerly of Rea, Skibbereen): on September 8th 2023 peacefully in her 98th year in the tender care of the staff of Care Choice Nursing Home, Clonakilty. LILLIAN (nee Salter) beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob), loving mother of Howard, Ivor and Zoe, cherished nana to Ashley, Peter, Olan, Colin, Jack and Lucy and their partners Gemma, Hannah and Conor, great-grandmother to Maeve, mother-in-law to Maura, Miriam and Tomás. Deeply regretted by her family, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Lying in repose in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty (P85 W963) on Sunday, September 10th 2023 from 5pm to 7.30pm with Prayers at 7.15pm followed by removal to Kilgarriffe Parish Church, Clonakilty. Funeral Service on Monday, September 11th 2023 at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired to the Irish Heart Foundation.
