Lillian Drury
(née Rowntree)
Lillian Drury (née Rowntree), Carrick Road, Dundalk and formerly of Kingscourt, Co. Cavan. Lillian passed away peacefully on 22nd February, 2026, while in the tender and devoted care of the staff at Moorhall Lodge Nursing Home, Ardee, surrounded by the love and support of her family. Beloved wife of the late John (August 2022), cherished mother of Joan, Cyril and Shirley, much-loved grandmother to Michael, Clare and John and sister of the late Gerald, Ethel, James, Billy and Harry. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her heartbroken daughters Joan and Shirley, son Cyril, son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Fionnula, grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and many friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth and gentle presence.
Funeral Service on Wednesday morning at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Ballymascanlon (A91 XH50). Followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard.
