The death has occurred of
Lillian Gabrielle (Gay) Dempsey
(née Holmes)
On 7th October 2024, peacefully, in Beaumont Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Gay, beloved wife of Des, much loved mother of Kieran, Susan, Ian and Aislinn. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Carol and Ger, sons-in-law John and Dave, grandchildren, Darragh, Conor, Shane, Barry, Niall, Evan, Jane, Aislinn, Mark, Jack and Kal, great-grandchildren Max, Louis, Lily and Fionn, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
A special word of thanks to staff and carers of Cara Care, Santry for the exceptional care and devotion shown to Gay during her time there.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Thursday (10th October) from 4pm until 6pm. Funeral on Friday in Corpus Christi Church, Home Farm Road arriving for a 10am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Glasnevin Cemetery.
