Lily (Elizabeth) Crawley

Mc Swiney Street, Dundalk, Louth

Lily passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff at Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home, having reached the extraordinary milestone of 100 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Mick and cherished mother of Marian (Dollard), Lesa (Gray), Michael and the late Gerard.

Predeceased by her loving husband, her son Gerard, her parents Elizabeth and John, her brothers Tommy, Paddy and Peter, and her sisters Alice (Hickey) and Maura (English).

Lily will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her heartbroken daughters and son, her dear brother Willie, sons-in-law Paddy and Brian, daughter-in-law Phil, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and by all who knew and loved her.

Reaching a full century of life, Lily’s kindness, gentle nature, and lifelong devotion to her family leave a legacy that will never be forgotten. She will also be sadly missed by her extended family, neighbours, and wide circle of friends whose lives she touched throughout her remarkable hundred years.

Lily will reposing in Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk (Eircode A91PV07) on Tuesday 10th between 3 o’clock and 8 o’clock. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30 via Mc Swiney Street to St. Nicholas' Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Lily was cared for with great kindness and dignity by the staff of Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home, whose support and dedication meant so much to her and to her family, for which we are deeply grateful.
