Lily (Elizabeth) Shields
(née Byrne)
Peacefully surrounded by her family in the kind and gentle care of the staff in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy, adored mother of Jimmy, Stephen, Mary (Clarke), Paul, Brendan , Ann (Mitchell) and the late Martin who died in infancy. Pre-deceased by her, parents Brigid & Peter (Channonrock), brothers Paddy, Peadar, Owen and sisters Alice & May. Lily will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons, daughters, daughters-in-law Jane, Fiona & Fatima, sons-in-law David & Ian, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Briege & Margaret , brothers Francie, Kevin & Jimmy, nieces, nephews extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved her

Reposing at home on Friday afternoon between 4pm and 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 10.40am walking to St. Nicholas' Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Thereafter to St. Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.
Family flowers only, donation, if desired, to The Birches Alzheimer Day Care Centre.
